Lune Aure and Our Jewellery
What is Lune Aure?
Lune Aure is a Sydney-based Australian jewellery brand offering pearl necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. The collection includes cultured freshwater and Edison pearls, with round, baroque, crescent, heart and cross designs.
Where is Lune Aure based?
Lune Aure is based in Sydney, Australia.
What are Lune Aure’s signature designs?
Our signature ranges include Moon Pearl Jewellery, featuring crescent-shaped pearl designs, and Pearl Cross Jewellery, featuring pearl cross necklaces and earrings.
Which moon necklace has a removable pendant?
The Selene gold-plated moon pendant necklace has a removable freshwater pearl crescent on a 42 cm chain. It is a separate design from the 45 cm Selene gold-plated moon necklace. Compare moon necklace lengths and finishes.
What is the difference between the two Celeste cross necklaces?
The sterling silver version has a 50 cm chain. The 18K gold-plated sterling silver version has a 43 cm chain with a 5 cm extension. These measurements describe the chains; they do not establish pendant size.
Are the two Amelie heart necklaces the same?
No. The heart baroque pearl necklace and the heart pearl pendant necklace are separate designs, both in 18K gold-plated 925 sterling silver. Compare both Amelie necklaces.
Pearls and Materials
Are Lune Aure pearls real?
Yes. Our pearl jewellery uses genuine cultured pearls, not plastic or imitation pearl beads. The range includes freshwater and Edison pearls. Baroque describes an irregular pearl shape, rather than a separate pearl origin. See each product page for its specific pearl details.
What is moon pearl jewellery?
At Lune Aure, moon pearl jewellery describes a crescent-moon pearl silhouette. Our range includes necklaces, studs, drop earrings and rings. Pearl type, chain length, metal and pendant construction are listed for each design; not every moon necklace is the same.
What is pearl cross jewellery?
Pearl cross jewellery combines a cross motif with cultured pearl detailing. Lune Aure’s range includes sterling silver and gold-plated pearl cross necklaces as well as cross pearl earrings.
Why does each pearl look slightly different?
Cultured pearls are individually formed. Shape, tone and surface can vary from pearl to pearl. If you are concerned about the condition of a piece you receive, contact us with photographs so we can help.
What materials are used in Lune Aure jewellery?
Our silver-coloured designs use 925 sterling silver. Gold-coloured designs use 18K gold plating over a 925 sterling silver base. Check each product page for the pearl, chain, setting and fitting details confirmed for that design.
Is 18K gold-plated sterling silver solid gold?
No. It has a layer of 18K gold over 925 sterling silver, rather than being gold all the way through. We describe our gold-coloured pieces as gold-plated sterling silver, not solid gold or gold-filled.
What does 925 sterling silver mean?
Sterling silver contains 92.5% silver. The 925 designation refers to the silver alloy, not the gold plating or pearl type.
Is all Lune Aure jewellery hypoallergenic, nickel-free or lead-free?
We do not make a collection-wide hypoallergenic, nickel-free or lead-free claim. Materials differ between designs. If you have known metal sensitivities, please review the product details and contact us before ordering.
Where can I find product measurements?
Confirmed measurements such as chain length, pearl size and ring fit are shown on the relevant product page where available. If a measurement is not listed, please contact us before purchasing.
Jewellery Care
How should I care for cultured pearl jewellery?
Put pearl jewellery on after perfume, skincare and cosmetics, and remove it before changing clothes. After wear, wipe each piece gently with a soft, dry cloth before storing it.
Can I wear pearl jewellery in water?
No. Remove pearl jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping. Avoid prolonged contact with water, perspiration, perfume, lotions and household cleaning products.
How should I clean and store my jewellery?
Use a soft, dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners or ultrasonic cleaning. Store each piece separately in its gift box, away from moisture, direct sunlight and harder jewellery that may scratch the pearls.
Packaging and Gifting
How is my jewellery packaged?
Every order is presented in a gift box, suitable for gifting and safekeeping.
